Marking Mariah (Special Forces: Operation Alpha) by Liz Crowe

This was a cool book about Terry who is ex-Delta force turned soccer coach and Mariah the winner of a music competition turned music teacher and mother who meet and start a relationship. Of course this doesn't come easy and they both make mistakes but when a life altering event puts Mariah's life in danger they both realize that they are meant to be.

Savage by Natasha Bender

This book is about a woman who asks her husband to fulfill one of her darkest fantasies.

This book started off well. The wife tells her husband about her fantasy and then he makes it happen for her. My problem was when the husband and his friend give her, her fantasy it just fell flat. It could have been sexy or hot but it really wasn't.

It's not a horrible book but it wasn't my favorite. It was just ok.

One Last Fling by Leela Lou Dahlin

This was a fun book about a billionaire who has to marry a woman by his 30th birthday so that he can inherit the family money or else it goes to charity and how he fell in love with a woman along the way. I liked how Ryder and Daisy connect with each other even though they come from two different worlds and that they were able to make the relationship work through all the challenges they had.

Elegant Seduction (Trinity Masters #6) by Mari Carr & Lila Dubois

This book is about Sebastian the best friend of Juliette from the previous book who is now the Grand Master. She sets him up with a "fake" trinity so that they can discover more information on the secret sect of Purists within the Trinity Master's organization. When Sebastian falls in love with the two other people in his trinity will he be able to convince Juliette to let the marriage stand all while doing his duty?
I really liked this book. Sebastian, Elyse and Grant were great characters and went well together. I loved the backstory between Seb and Elle. I loved not knowing if Grant was what he said he was. Trying to figure out the past of the purists and what Jessica got up to was a lot of fun. The tension between the three of them was super hot and so was the sex. The ending was very surprising I did not see that twist coming which made it so good! Another great read in the series.

The Lifeguard by Mariana Lewis

This book is about a woman named Michelle who works as a lifeguard at the beach. She starts to have feelings for one of her coworkers when an unexpected event occurs will they find comfort in each other?
This was cute and short. The writing felt a little stiff but was ok. The story was good although kind of random event for the main character to get together with her crush. All in all a ok read.

The Proposal (The Dark Wedding Duet #1) by Kitty Thomas

This book was great! I really liked all of the characters and the story kept me reading. I do have to admit this was a lighter Kitty novel and you can kind of guess the plot twist but that didn't make it any less enjoyable! I really wish there had been more chapters after the wedding but the book was already pretty long so I can't complain. I loved how Livia grew throughout the book as well as the guys it was interesting to see the evolution of the characters from start to finish. Another great read from Kitty!

Unleashed (Mistress & Master of Restraint 2) by Erica Chilson

This was a nice sequel to the first book. It starts out where the first book left off. Back at Dominion with Ezra, Cortez, Eva and everyone else. Life is different but oddly the same. More secrets are revealed and lots of things happen. I don't want to give anything away so I'll just say that this book had many surprises and you won't be bored. A great continuation to the series.

Restraint (Mistress & Master of Restraint 1) by Erica Chilson

This was a very interesting book. Katya is a survivor of rape, in the book she spends her time trying to remember her repressed memories of that day, while living her life in a new city and with a new job. I love how Katya's backstory is shown throughout the book as her memories slowly begin to return, also during this time she has to put the puzzle pieces together to find out who is who and what secrets they are hiding. I really enjoyed this book, it had me until the very end when the story came full circle and everything made sense.

Her Rogue Mates (Interstellar Brides Program 13) by Grace Goodwin

This story is about a human named Harper. She's a nurse and when the Coalition makes earth a part of their alliance people have to choose a way to help. Harper can become a bride or a soldier so she decides to become a medic. One day at a bar she gains the attention of an alien man. He's not like the others, she doesn't recognize him. He's Styx of Styx Legion and he's interested in her. He believes he and his friend Blade are her mates. After a short tryst in a hallway Harper is called away to a battle to heal the injured. Unfortunately the medical team is attacked. Harper manages to escape, barely. So Styx and Blade claim her as their mate and take her home with them. Their plan is to find the person responsible for the attack. Can Harper survive long enough to enjoy her new mates?

This book was a lot of fun. I liked all the different kinds of aliens and that Styx and Blade are kind of like vampires in the sense that they have the urge to bite Harper and give her ultimate pleasure. The story was interesting I liked all the different groups. I love how Styx's and Blade tattoo Harper's name on their bodies to show that she's theirs. I love that Harper is fierce and willing to help others even when her life is in danger. The sex was hot and the action fast paced. A great story.

Chained (Brides of the Kindred 9) by Evangeline Anderson

I really enjoyed this book. I love Maggie and her personality and how she ends up somewhere she wasn't expecting on Yonnie Six with Kor as her slave. Kor was hot! I loved him so much! It was really fun to see all the story lines happening at the same time. I love that each book gets a little more into the universe of the Kindred. A fun read.

Cruel Idols by Sorcha Black

This book is about a woman who seeks the autograph of her favorite author only to be forced to live with him and his friend until he's finished writing his new book. Can the three of them live together in peace? Or will things turn for bad to worse?
I really liked, Sadie, Vandal and Zero they were all very different from each other. Vandal was a jerk I'll be honest I didn't really like him until the last couple of chapters. Zero is automatically lovable and I can understand why Sadie falls for him fast. Sadie is awesome. She's fierce and stubborn and bratty and she's very submissive. The things they do to her in their house are dirty and hot and she loves all of it. The ending was unexpected and a lot of fun. This was a great read.

Hidden Devotion (Trinity Masters 5) by Mari Carr & Lila Dubois

This book is about Juliette the younger sister of Harrison who was the Grand Master of the Trinity Masters who's had to step down. Juliette never wanted the responsibilities of her legacy but now that she's Grand Master she'll do what's needed to figure out it's secrets. When she finds out there might be lost legacies she's set on a path to discovering some pretty serious secrets. Meanwhile she has to deal with her past and what her future might look like with two men that genuinely care for her. Will she be able to sort out her love life also while bringing dangerous secrets to life?
I really liked Juliette she was confident and strong minded and knew what she wanted. Even though she has a troubled past with Devon her former fiancé it's undeniable that she has feelings for him. When she meets Franco she's able to let go of her fears and just be herself with no expectations. I very much loved that Devon and Franco became good friends and weren't shy about being intimate with each other as well as Juliette. The secrets Juliette uncovers are quite shocking as well as other things that happened in this book that I was not expecting. I was really rooting for her to figure out what was going and on get her HEA. Although we don't quite find out the hidden secrets of the Trinity Masters slowly pieces are falling into place. Can't wait to read the next book!

Twisted (Zetas 5) by AJ Adams

This book was great. I loved Persia she was feisty but I felt bad for the horrible fate that she was handed with her family and her upbringing and others using her. Jorge was a jerk but when he realized how he'd messed up towards Persia he turns it around and care for her unlike anyone else ever has. The sex was hot, the violence was gruesome and the characters were captivating. A fun read.

Dirty Dealings (Zetas 3) by AJ Adams

This was a really interesting story. Quique is part of the Mexican mafia sent to London to take care of a project while there he runs into Natalia a normal everyday British chick except she's not normal. She's done some things to protect her family and she would do it again. So Quique and Natalia have this love/hate relationship until about half way through the book and that's where most of the action happens. I found the second half of the book more interesting because it was one thing after another after another. The first half of the book is more the set up and description of both characters and their lives. I'm not used to reading mafia type stories so this was a really cool read.

Songbird (Zetas 2) by AJ Adams

Wow this book was crazy! Loved it! Solitaire is badass and Arturo well he's was really creepy in The Bonus but now we get to see him in a whole new light. I was not expecting what happened to Solitaire and the bad guy, I figured out who it was two or three chapters before the reveal but there was still a twist I didn't see coming. The ending was intense. A really great book.

The Bonus (Zetas 1) by AJ Adams

Wow this book was really good. I'd already read Dirty Dealings so being able to go back and see the way Kyle and Chloe's relationship began was a lot of fun. Poor Chloe she had such a hard life but she's a tough cookie and she was lucky to meet Kyle. Even though Kyle is not going to win person of the year award he truly loves Chloe and will do anything to keep her safe. The connection between them is there from the start and I liked that. Chloe manages to become a part of Kyle's world by staying loyal to him and Arturo. I'm happy they got their happy ending.

You Don't Own Me (The Russian Don #1) by Georgia Le Carre

This book was very interesting. I had no idea what to expect but near the end of the book I was in love with the characters and wanted things to work out. WARNING! Cliffhanger!

No Safeword by Claire Thompson

This was an interesting book. I felt like the author knew a lot about BDSM almost to the point where some scenes made me uncomfortable because of their content. But I always love books that make me feel something, I particularly like how half way through the book we get to see not only Jaime's point of view but also Mark's. I enjoyed the budding romance between the two of them and enjoyed how the book ended.

Stolen by the Zandian (Zandian Brides #7) by Renee Rose

This book is about a captain named Khrys who's made some mistakes and decided to get back into the King's good graces by going to pick up a modified human that could cure a virus affecting the children on his planet. Kailani is a slave who's been experimented on her whole life to be sold as a super human to slavers. When she escapes her cruel masters with the help of Khrys she thinks life might be different. The two share a bond that neither has felt before. The only problem? Khrys has neglected to tell her why he tried to save her and and return to his planet. Can she forgive his deceit and find happiness with him on Zandia?
I really liked this book. Kailani is fierce but she's been abused her whole life and she's not quick to trust Khrys but he makes her feel things she's never felt before and she feels safe with him. When they get stranded on a planet they get to know each other even better. Khrys feels like a failure to his planet and his king and believes bringing Kailani to Zandia will restore his good name but he wasn't expecting to fall in love with the woman. By the time they make it back to his planet he doesn't care bout anything but keeping her safe and happy. The ending was so much fun and made me smile. I really enjoyed this book and the characters. If you like any of the Zandian books than you'll love this one!
