The Sharp Edge of Bliss: An Enemies to Lovers MMF Bisexual Romance by Sorcha Black

This book was awesome! It had a slow start but once it got going I couldn't put it down! I loved Star, Blaise & Avery they just fit together. I loved that Blaise hated Star at first and then fell in love with her, I also loved that Avery also ended up falling in love with her. I felt really bad for Star and her life and was glad the ending gave some closure to her life and how she ended up where she did. The climax was intense and I was totally shocked by the turn of events but happy things ended well. I'm sad the book had to end I could have continued to read about this trio (and Otis) forever! A great read.

Detective Hercules by A.C.Rose

This is a fun book about a radio host Lizzy who breaks her toe and seeks help from a police detective and accidentally reveals info about the encounter on live radio causing problems for the detective with his boss.

My book synopsis' are usually more descriptive but I don't want to give away too much of the plot. This was a fun short book. I enjoyed both Lizzy and Hercules, they are both fun and flirty and have instant chemistry but Lizzy may have more things than just a broken toe to worry about. But luckily for her Hercules is there to help. This was a fun story.

Special Forces: Operation Alpha: Mia (Kindle Worlds) by Anne L. Parks

This book is about Mia an accountant who ends up stuck in the middle of a dangerous situation when a colleague gives her a file that could lead to illegal dealings. Lucky for her a friend of hers has set her up on a date with a Navy Seal named Ben who helps Mia figure out what is happening and who is responsible and slowly falling in love with her.

This book had romance and mystery and hot Navy Seals. This was a really fun book to read. I haven't read any of the books in Susan Stoker's series so I was a bit confused and am assuming that some of the characters are from other books but it didn't take away from the overall story. Mia was feisty and brave and Ben was protective and hot. This was a fun read.

His Laughing Girl by Ellen Whyte

This is the story about a chef named Sophie who is asked to cook for a month for an important businessman named Richard. Sophie is a curvy woman and she likes it that way, she loves to cook and she loves to eat but she's hurt after being broken up with by her fiance who told her she'd have to lose weight if they married so she's been down about men. Richard has had his fair share of beautiful skinny women but all he wants now is to get his robot working and having a curvy woman to hold on to.

I really liked this story. Sophie is a sweetheart but doesn't have a lot of confidence. She's happy with her life and the way she looks but it's hard to stay upbeat when she's surrounded by beautiful women who are models. She likes Richard but he's successful and has his share of gorgeous women that she feels like she's more a fling to him than anything else. Richard on the other hand is trying to convince Sophie that he wants something that will last. I enjoyed the chemistry between the two of them. I also loved all the other characters they made me laugh. A fun lighthearted book.

The Surrendered (Surrendered 1) by Case Maynard

This book is about a sixteen year old girl named Vera or Vee who is a slave to the government. The economy no longer exists. There was the creation of a Tax where parents have to give up their children if they couldn't pay the Tax. Only one child per family is exempt, if there is more than one child then the parents have to pay the Tax if not they have their children taken away from them at the age of eight. These children the go into the "system" which is this books government and the kids become slaves. Vee and her twin brother Oliver were surrendered at the age of ten but when their younger sister who should be exempt from the Tax shows up and unexpected events put Vee and her sister in danger their flee. They meet up with a group of people who are trying to take down the "system" but they may have dark intentions. Vee meets a guy named Cason and a romantic relationship slowly grows between the two of them.

I really enjoyed this book it was full of action right from the beginning. I liked Vee but she was a bit impulsive. I think she would have gotten herself and other into way less trouble if she had thought her actions through but in her defense I also think she would have acted differently if the people around her had told her their plan instead of expecting her to just trust and follow along. Vee is not a follower she likes to do so to be told to wait is not a good thing for her. I liked Cason a lot. He was gruff at first but had his reasons. I found Jane to be a little bitch not that it was her fault her crazy mother raised her that way but still she was a little annoying. Olivier I find was a very mysterious character we don't see a lot of him in this book until about half way through and he has quite a few secrets that if he had shared with Vee things might have gone differently. The ending to this book was great but man I want the next book! It comes out in September so i'll be keeping a eye out for it's release.

Love In Transit

This is a collection of stories written by several authors which were all given the same blurb about a girl being stuck on the subway wearing a wedding dress.

I found the concept of the anthology great. I'd read anthologies with a theme but never one where all the authors have the same blurb. I found it really fun. All the stories are different but having the same blurb made them feel similar also.

Save the Date by Annabeth Albert

This story is about a guy named Randall who is the man of honor at his sister's wedding. He goes to a gay bar with his sister for her bachelorette party. He hopes he can find a guy to hook up with while he's there. He's shy and a virgin but he knows what he wants and that's a sexy guy. He gets his chance when he runs into Hunter. Hunter is looking for a no strings attached weekend. When he bumps into Randall the shy scientist sparks Hunter's interest bringing him back to a high school fantasy about the nerdy guy he worked with in school. They spend a night together that is hot as sin. The only problem is the next day they find out they are attending the same wedding. Hunter is the best man for Randall's sister's husband. They both are interested in continuing their fling over the wedding weekend but can this no strings hook up turn into more?

This was a really great book. I love m/m but I don't read a lot of them so when I do I keep my fingers crossed that they are hot and steamy and this one did not disappoint. What drew me to this book in the first place was the cover. A nerdy looking shy guy being crowded by a big sexy guy was hot as hell. I'd stop reading every now and then just to go back and stare at the cover. I loved Randall he was hot! He was shy but he knew what he wanted and that was Hunter. I loved the few times throughout the book where Randall took charges. I could definitely see another book featuring this couple where Randall gets to try topping Hunter, that'd be really hot! Hunter is a playboy but he's had a lot of bad things happen to the people around him. He's in a funk and thinks a hook up will solve his problems but that's not the case. Although his and Randall's relationship starts off as a fling he realizes that there could be something more there if they're both willing to give it a shot. I loved the growing relationship between the two as the book went on. I'd definitely read another book that continues to show their relationship and possibly their own wedding. A really sexy fun read.

Revolution by Jessica Frances

Wow, this book has to be one of the best books I've read in a while. I loved it a lot. At first I din't know what to expect but as the story went on I got more and more into the story and was cheering for Tilly and Johnny to get their HEA. Some sad things happened, good things, action, romance this book was just crazy good. When I finished the book I wished there had been more that's how much I loved the characters. Will definitely have to check out the rest of Jessica Frances' books if they are anything as great as this book was then i'll have some good reading ahead of me. Fantastic book.

My Life in Reverse by Casey Harvell

I love how well this was written. All the info was interesting to read. This was an emotional book for me to read because it reminded me of things that happened to me in a previous relationship (not to this extent only certain things) and how it's possible to be blind to things for a long time and not see them for what they are and how they affect you negatively. But there is always a way out and no one should be treated in such a way. The only thing I didn't like about the book was the formatting? I couldn't read the chapter titles and screenshots because it was too small (even when I had the font at it's largest) but the story was great and well written. Emotional read.

Poppy's 3 Men by Sophie Sloane

I really enjoyed this book, the story is about Poppy and the three most important men she dated. It switched back and forth to different times in her life when she was in a relationship with one of the three men. She loves each man in her own way but it takes her a while to figure out which man she's in love with, which is how the story ends with her wedding to one of the three men. A good book on how dating is hard and that sometimes it takes a long time to find the one you're meant to spend the rest of your life with but when you do you'll know.

Hypnotized by Georgia Le Carre

I loved this story. The hypnosis sessions were cool. It was very interesting to find out what happened in Olivia's past. I felt really bad for what happened to both Olivia and Marlow but was happy to see that they find something in each other to love. A really good book.

Our Man Friday by Claire Thomspon

This book was a lot of fun to read. The coming together of all three characters was fun to read, the evolution of each person as and individual and as a couple was really nice. The book shows different sides of a relationship with each person having their own doubts, insecurities and dreams. The ending was beautiful and had me tearing up. I could easily see this book become a series I feel like there is so much more to know about Ian, Kye and Cassidy.

Polar Reaction by Claire Thomspon

I really liked this book. I've read m/m before but never m/m/m so I was curious what that'd be like, well it was hot! The characters had so much chemistry and the tension between the three of them made me want to know what was going to happen. If you're into m/m and want a story about some hot sex and three guys finding love together than this is the book!
