Terran (Breeder Book 2) by Cara Bristol

This book is about a human named Tera who works on Parseon as a textile vendor. Met briefly in book 1 she is friends with Omra and Anika. She has left earth to try her hand at a new life. As a single woman on a planet were women are regarded as inferior she gets many looks from citizen's wishing to procure her wares. When Alpha Marlix enters her shop in order to buy a special material to outfit his troupes there is tension between the two. After a mistake might cause an intergalactic incident Tara ventures out unescorted and finds out how female and are treated. Injured Marlix kidnaps her and takes her to his home. As they spend time together feelings begin to grow. Can a Parseon/Terran relationship exist in a world controlled by protocol? Marlix and Tera are willing to try but there are unforeseen and deadly consequences. Can love defeat prejudice?

I REALLY loved this book! I love the Parseon world and love seeing these stoic men lose their cool for the women they love. In the first book Marlix seems like a bad guy but he's just putting up a front to keep control of his territory. He's intrigued by Tara and her alienness but he likes that she's unlike any of the females on his planet. Marlix has a sweet spot and I loved that he fought with his feelings for Tara. I loved seeing more of the Enclave and finding out that Anika was Marlix's sister! Anika is seen in the first book as a friend of Omra she's a victim and almost dies by having her throat cut but survives. In this book she's at the Enclave with the Beta Jergen that bought her from the BCF. I like how she has so much spunk! And I can't wait to read more about her in the next book. This book is crazy so many ups and downs I loved everything! I love that Marlix was willing to follow Tara back to earth after he rejects her for Jergen's death and Urazi's injuries I also love how Tara is willing to go back to him even though she's messed everything up and is in danger. Just a great story with wonderful characters a definite must read!
