The Beast Is Me (The Beast and Me 4) by D.S. Wrights

So many things happen in this book. Meg is trying to get on with her life but she can't do that until she gets revenge and destroys everyone that had a hand in the beast projects. She has Austin and Daniel to help her. She has to live with the fact that Jay and the others are dead while living with her growing feelings for Daniel. There is a plot twist in the middle of the book that I didn't see coming and the ending omg cliffhanger! I'm so upset about the ending, I want things to go right for a change but that doesn't seem to be possible. I'll just have to wait and see what happens next.

This book was crazy! There was so much going on. Meg is planning her escape while trying to keep secrets from everyone. The Meg is trying to organize and escape for herself, Jay and the other beasts but something unexpected happens and things go horribly wrong. The ending was quite a shock and I was not expecting this to happen that way. Definitely need to read the next book to find out what happens next.

This book was interesting, because we get to see some of the events of the first book through Jay's eyes while at the same time seeing what is happening in the present with him and Meghan. It is a bit confusing because we (and Jay) have no idea what is happening to Meghan why she is being treated the way she is. It's a mystery and i'm diving into the next book to find out what's going on.

The Beast And Me (The Beast And Me 1) by D.S. Wrights

This was a really interesting story. It's written in journal format chronicling Meg's days after she was abducted.

 At first she has no idea what is going on until she realizes that she has been brought to a secret facility to be used as an experiment along with the beast called Ten. She's not sure what he is but he isn't completely human and she doesn't care. She falls in love with him and her objective becomes to escape their shared prison.

 There is a character called White and i'm gonna call him a mad scientist because he seems to be the one in control. He's super creepy and just his description makes me think I'd never want to encounter this man in real life. How Meg deals with him is crazy but also pretty smart.

 She tries to keep calm and in control of her emotions though she doesn't always succeed. She's trying to survive and Ten is also trying to survive. They are both each others hope.

 Can't wait to read the next book and find out what happens to them.
