Feral King (The Dominant Bastard Book 1) by Sparrow Beckett

This book is about a young woman named Minnow who gets a job working for a rich man. She's supposed to keep and eye on him and teach him how to be more social. He's a wild child that was abandoned as a child and hasn't learn to socialize with others. Minnow and Severin realize that they have something in common: kink. They begin a relationship that grows throughout the story. The mystery of Severin's past baffles everyone around him, unable to speak about his childhood he keeps a dark secret from everyone he cares about. But the past doesn't go away and it will come back to haunt him.

 I really enjoyed this book, Severin was one of the best developed characters I've ever read. He grows from begin to end. You can see the changes with his relationship with Minnow. Afraid to love anyone for fear they might leave him Minnow shows him over and over that she isn't going anywhere. Minnow is the most badass girl ever. She lets Severin do anything to her and loves it. Her feels for Severin develop faster than his feelings for her but are just as deep. She wants to protect him from the world and his past and he has to learn to trust. The ending! Grrr! Cliffhanger! But it was a well places cliffhanger and makes me want to read the book but leaves it in a pretty good spot to continue book 2. Can't wait to read the next book.
