Chained (Brides of the Kindred 9) by Evangeline Anderson

I really enjoyed this book. I love Maggie and her personality and how she ends up somewhere she wasn't expecting on Yonnie Six with Kor as her slave. Kor was hot! I loved him so much! It was really fun to see all the story lines happening at the same time. I love that each book gets a little more into the universe of the Kindred. A fun read.

Shadowed (Brides of the Kindred 8) by Evangeline Anderson

This book is about a Kindred named Reddix, he is a Touch Kindred but he has a disease called RTS (Reverse Touch Syndrome) and is unable to use his touch sense and he constantly feels others emotions so strongly that it's a handicap. He makes a deal with the swamp witch who promises him a cure if he kidnaps an earth woman. Nina is a message therapist and she's kidnapped by Reddix and taken through a wormhole. She's scared and confused but she's also been dreaming about him. Stranded on an alien planet can their relationship grow or will they part ways once they're rescued.
I really liked this story. Reddix was kind of a jerk but he had his reasons and he becomes more likable as the story progresses. Nina is fierce but also unsure of herself. I loved the aliens that they encounter on the planet they crash on. I also loved once Nina returns to the mother ship all the hijinks that ensue. I can't wait to read more in this story! All the couples so far have been awesome!

Exiled (Brides of the Kindred 7) by Evangeline Anderson

This book is about Lissa and Saber they are both Touch Kindred and are from the same clan which makes them family regardless of the fact that they have no blood connection. They were forced apart and are now reunited to go on an important mission to find scrolls that will defeat the Hoard. Unfortunately they must go to a planet where women dominate men. Lissa is a submissive virgin and Saber is a fierce dominant Kindred male can they both take on the roles they must play to retrieve the scrolls or will they lose themselves on this dangerous mission?
I really liked Lissa and Saber. They were a great couple. Lissa was so sweet and Saber is a protective Kindred male. I loved that they were both fighting their attraction to each other because of the taboo and because they didn't want to ruin each other's future. But love always wins and after some ups and downs they end up together. I really enjoyed everything that was happening back on the mother ship with the other girls and the body switch that was hilarious I also loved meeting L and can't wait to find out more about her.

Pursued (Brides of the Kindred 6) by Evangeline Anderson

This book is mainly about Elise and Merrick who have to visit Rageron to get a sacred vine that will dissolve their fake bone that was created when he cared from her when she escape the stasis pod she was in. Elise has secrets she wants to keep hidden and so does Merrick but he's more willing to accept and share his past if it means he gets to keep Elise with him. Elise unfortunately has a fiancĂ© waiting for her back on Earth, she's torn between her feelings for Merrick and the safety that her betrothed offers her. Throughout their journey will the two of them be able to realize they are meant to be or will all the chaos around them separateI them forever?
I really liked this book. Elise and Merrick are
some fun new characters. Even though it wasn't until the end of the book that Elise's past was revealed I had an idea that it was something along those lines, as for Merrick I definitely didn't see his past I had no guesses at all. Rageron was really cool we haven't seen a lot about that world yet so it was interesting to read. I loved everything that was going on, on First World with the high priestess Lissa and am excited to read her book next. I loved seeing the ladies and continuing their story. I'm curious to find out what's going on with Kat and her twins. A very exciting read.

Revealed (Brides of the Kindred 5) by Evangeline Anderson

This book was great. I loved that we still get to see the lives of the women from past books but we get to also meet new characters. I loved the storyline with Rast. I don't want to give anything away so I'll just say READ THIS BOOK! I truly think this is the best book yet. I loved Merrick and can't wait to find out more about him. The new enemy is scary and I'm not looking forward to reading more about them but I'm sure I will. I can't wait to keep reading these books.

Found (Brides of the Kindred 4) by Evangeline Anderson

This story focuses mainly on Xairn and Lauren. They have escaped the clutches of the AllFather but must find a way to become hidden permanently from his powers. They set off to find a way to live in peace but can they overcome not only the danger that hunts them but also their feelings for each other?
This book was great! I loved Xairn since the first time he showed up and I couldn't wait to read about him and Lauren. Lauren is fierce and she knows what she wants and that's Xairn. He wants her too but is too afraid of his scourge nature and his fear of hurting her. The action is fast paced and the adventure never stops. I loved seeing the other girls as well. Each book adds a new layer to the Kindred world and the different characters. Another great story in this awesome series.

Sought (Brides of the Kindred 3) by Evangeline Anderson

Kat is the best friend of Olivia and Sophia from the first 2 Kindred books and this is her story. She has to deal with two alpha males. Lock and Deep are Twin Kindred and both are madly in love with Kat. Unfortunately Deep the dark twin has too much darkness in himself to truly trust himself and let himself feel for her. Kat has a similar problem in the sense that Lock is the light twin and a perfect gentleman and she cares a lot for him but she has a love/hate relationship with Deep. When she suffers from an incomplete bond with the Twin warriors they must search for a way to cure her on their home planet. Their adventure begins. During this time a new woman and
an unlikely warrior are starting their journey together. Will these couples be able to survive the dangers that await them and find love?
I really liked this book. We got to see Kat, Deep and Lock in previous books and it was fun to finally see their story and how things worked out between the three of them. I love the Twin Kindred and their culture. I also love that we got to see more of Xairn and that Lauren could potentially be his true mate. I'm fascinated by the Scourge and Xairn specifically. I can't wait to see what else there is to learn about the three different types of Kindred species and the future women that we will meet.

Hunted (Brides of the Kindred 2) by Evangeline Anderson

This book is about Sophia the twin sister of Olivia from Claimed. She is on the ship for Liv and Baird's wedding and unfortunately she's ends up in danger. But she's lucky to have Sylvan a Blood Kindred to protect her. He will do all he can to keep her safe even if it means being heartbroken by her over and over again. Can the two of them get over their past and realize that they are better together than apart?
I liked Sylvan a lot in Claimed and was happy to see more of him in this book. I didn't like Sophia that much though she seemed to complain about everything when Sylvan was trying to give her the world. I love that we got to see more of Baird and Liv and the new relationship growing between Kat, Lock and Deep (I totally love the Twin Kindred names!). Finding out more about the Scourge and the AllFather was really creepy I really hope someone kills that guy cuz he's not nice. I liked seeing Sylvan's homeworld and the distance that Kat, Deep and Lock can travel using the Twin Kindred power. The whole book was just awesome because there is so much happening! I can't wait to find out more in Kat's book next.

Claimed (Brides of the Kindred 1) by Evangeline Anderson

This book is about Olivia she's been called up to the Kindred Mothership to participate in a Kindred claiming period. What this means is that a Kindred male has one month to make her fall in love with him and become his mate. Baird is a Beast Kindred they are known as the most fierce of the three Kindred but he also has a soft heart. He recently escaped the Scourge the enemy of the Kindred. He's been dream sharing with Olivia and he knows she's meant to be his. The problem? Olivia is 100% against becoming the bride of an alien. She's a nurse and doesn't want to leave her twin sister Sophia, her job or her planet. But she has no choice but to go. Her only chance? To resist during the claiming period so she can return to her old life. But danger is everywhere and Olivia will have to keep her wits about her so that she can survive.

 !!!!!SPOILERS!!!!!
 -----------------------------------

This book was a lot of fun. I loved Olivia, she was so headstrong and knew what she wanted even if she really didn't know what she wanted. I can understand her fear of being with an alien but Baird did everything to make her feel comfortable. Of course he could have been more honest with her about the rules so that she hadn't inadvertently broken one and be sent back to Earth where she is then captured by the Scourge. I really liked learning a little about the different Kindred and would love to read more about the Twin and Blood Kindred in future books. I loved all the technology on the ship and that we got to see what I'm hoping is the beginnings of a relationship between Sophia and Sylvan. The Scourge are horrible and I'm kind of interested to find out more about their motives. This was an interesting beginning to a series and I can't wait to read more.

The Institute: Daddy Issues (Age Play Discipline Romance) Audiobook Narrated by Sierra Kline, written by Evangeline Anderson

This book is about two detectives Andi and Salt who have to go undercover in a special club for bigs and littles people who participate in ageplay in order to find out who is distributing a dangerous drug that makes the user so wanton that if they aren't pleased can kill. Unfortunately for Andi this experience will bring up past memories and feelings she'd rather forget. Can she and Salt do what they must to find the bad guys and stay friends and partners?
I loved this book! It was hot and fun and emotional and deep. A truly enjoyable book. Andi has tried so hard to keep her past in the past and not dwell on a father who abandoned her as a child but hidden feelings are beginning to surface as her partner Salt takes up the role as her Papa and begins to care for her. Unbeknownst to her she thinks Salt is only acting as he must for the case but that isn't true he's just as much drawn into this world where he is Andi's sole protector and guardian. He'll do what he must to protect her. This book was a lot of fun.

The narrator Sierra Kline was very good. I enjoyed listening to her narrate the story. She was so good in fact that sometimes I forgot that she was also doing the voice of Salt. I love when female narrators can do convincing male voices. A very good job narrating the book.
