Inferno by Sara Fields

This book was a crazy read. I didn't know what to expect but this was soo out there. I loved the story. The second half of the book was very confusing until we got to the reveal about what all had happened. I loved the characters and they acted exactly as I would expect and

the sex was super hot. A fun read.

On Her Knees: A Mafia Bully Romance (Contains Spoilers) by Sara Fields

This This book is about Blaire she's a high school senior that thinks she's queen bee. But when she decides to mess with Col a guy from her past she may get more than she bargained for. 

 I liked Blaire she was fierce but submissive to Col I was definitely not expecting her to just give in to everything he wanted but she did threaten him so punishment was in order. I thought the second half of the book was crazy with all the violence and sex. I do have to admit that I didn't really like the scene with "gunplay" that kind of use of guns isn't sexy it's scary even if we do find out it wasn't loaded. But all in all I really enjoyed this book. I liked how Col taught Blaire how to use a gun and she was able to defend herself against his attackers and that they were a good pair. 

 I would recommend this book if you like a gritty romance with elements of high school rivalry between the main characters and some hot somewhat dubious sex. A great read.

Conquered (Vakarran Captives #1) by Sara Fields

This was an awesome start to a new series by Sara Fields. Kira has spent ten years trying to keep herself and her sisters safe from the Vakarrans. An alien race who conquered earth to take it's females as breeders. Kira has heard horror stories about what it's like to be a Vakarran breeder and will do anything to keep her sisters from that fate. While she and her family and other humans hide in the forest they must do everything to keep their identity hidden. Unbeknownst to Kira a group of Vakarrans are aware of her presence and is quite in awe of her but that won't stop them from capturing her and keeping her as their own. When Kira falls in their trap she'll learn that not all Vakarrans are evil but they are firm masters. Rebellion soon turns to love for Kira towards these Vakarran men and she learns to trust them to take care of her and keep her family's whereabouts secret from the rest of the Vakarrans. This was a really good book and I can't wait to read more in this new series.

Lana is kidnapped by aliens and is given as a gift to Dante a king on his planet. There she learns how to be his mate and submissive. When she fears her feelings and her submission to him she tries to escape and is taken captive by Dante's enemy. In a far worse fate than when she was the king's toy she longs to be reunited with him. Will she be returned to the man she's grown to care for? 

 I like Lana she was feisty. Dante was fun, he was strict and demands a lot from Lana but he cares deeply for her. When she's taken captive by his enemy Lord Nero she's tortured and thinks she'll go mad but she's saved by the king's sorceress Morgana who fixes the evil that Lord Nero has done to Lana. When she's reunited with Nero she's happy but her save return is at a cost. I really liked this story it was fun reading about this new world.

Mated to the Dragons (Captive Brides 5) by Sara Fields

Jada has witness something she shouldn't have and has been framed for murder. She's also been made to look like a third child which means she's taken off planet and sent to a detention center where women are sold as brides to alien men. When she's sold to two dragon shifters and taken to their planet she has to learn to be a submissive to not one but two men. When she finally begins to have feelings for them and becomes used to her new life her past comes back to hunt her. Her enemies are not done with her and will stop at nothing to be ride other. The only thing different this time around is that Jada has two strong dragons who will anything to protect her.

This story was full of action! I loved the guys they were dominant but gentle with Jada when they had to be. I got mad at first when she told them she'd never killed anyone and they didn't believe her because she's supposed to be a "warrior" which she totally does become at the end of the book when she has to protect her parents. But the guys make up for it when they find out she's been taken and the follow her to get her back and then help her save her parents. This was definitely different than the other Captive Brides book because Jada is not a third child and really doesn't deserve what happened to her but she's a fighter and turns things around and finds love with her dragons shifters. A really good book.

He has scars from battle and is afraid he will scare her away so he tries to keep his identity hidden. Regardless she's madly in love with him and doesn't care about how he looks only how he makes her feel. Can the two of them be happy together?

Dark Warlord by Cynthia Sax

Michelle is being held as an illegal third child. She's sent to a planet to become a bride. When she arrives she'll find out that she'll have to deal with more than just moody and sullen husbands. Can she survive and win their hearts? 

Michelle was a sweet girl and this book was very unexpected to me. I was not expecting her to be treated the way she was and felt bad for her. The guys want nothing to do with her because of a previous loss but they could have been a little nicer to her. I liked that we got to see a little about Rose and her relationship with the men and the events that happened to her and them. It was all very sad. I loved that Roan was a little more nice and playful compared to Dane's hard demeanor. Sheena was adorable and I was glad that Michelle had her. I was happy when the trio finally got together. Everything else that happened was also very unexpected but I'm happy that things turned out well and that the events of the past didn't repeat themselves. This was a very interesting book.

This book is about Jenny who after misbehaving is sent to the medical wing for punishment and training. She's to be trained by the three doctors there. They are strict but they believe that they can tame Jenny's rebellious spirit. Can she learn to trust them and can they learn to love a purple haired wildcat?

I loved these guys! They were all so different the was some Dom/sub action, Daddy/babygirl. Each guy was unique in his own way and came to love Jenny wild as she is. I loved that we got to see more of the bad aliens and that we got to see the guys and Jenny helping out after an attack. I loved that we got to see more about her family and that they eventually join her. The whole story was a lot of fun. A very good read.

This book is about Aimee she's an illegal third child to a family on earth. Used to getting her way and being pampered by her family she's not used to the word no. She wants a car but she has to hide so that her status won't be discovered. When she decides to steal a car she's arrested and deported from earth. She's now in a detention center where spankings are common place. Not being used to being reprimanded Aimee rebels. She's given the worst of punishments before she is sold to three warriors from the planet Ollorin. She must be completely obedient or she will be punished. When Aimee decides to run away with some Ollorin men she's placed in danger and must rely on her three mates to save her. Will she be able to submit to these warriors and live a happy life? 

 I liked Aimee she had a lot of spunk. Though she is really spoiled. Of course she has to steal a car and ends up being discovered what else did she think was going to happen? Tobias is hot alpha male but he truly loves her. Cole is such a sweetheart but he can be firm with her when needed. Luke is the happy go lucky guy of the three men. I loved that they all had their own distinct personalities and were able to give Aimee different things depending on what she needed. I loved Arto he was super cool! A talking bear is awesome! Of course the sex is hot and there are many spankings but that's okay because Aimee loves them. A fun story.

Isabella is living a prison where woman are trained to be brides for alien men. When Isabella gets caught up in a food fight she has to be punished but she's given a choice punishment or become a bride right away. She chooses to go with being the bride of some hot alien men. They take her to their planet where she's treated like a pet. She doesn't obey 100% but she gets aroused by their dominance of her body. She starts training to become one of the pets that all woman are on this planet. But Isabella's special and her new masters Zack and Noah might no be willing to part with her. Can she find love in this new strange place and find where she belongs? 

 I like this book I thought it was interesting that on earth you can't have more than two children so any others are taken into custody. Isabella is one of the unfortunate ones who ends up at a detainment facility but she is treated better than most because of her father's political standing. She nervous to go and live with alien men but she doesn't want to be severely punished at the facility. At first she's nervous about being a pet but soon she begins to like being a pet. She's also special because she able to adapt to being every type of pet whereas usually a woman is only suited to be one type of pet. Zack and Noah are hard on her put their affection for her grows throughout the book. Noah is more the disciplinarian and Zack is more the gentle giant of the duo. They want Isabella to be happy and when she's able to be any kind of pet they want to keep her as their own. She learns to crave their dominance and love it. In turn both Zack and Noah do everything they can to make her happy even discipline her severely when things escalate between her and Becky at the auction. I really enjoyed this series. It would be fun to possibly see characters that live in the Outside because it was mentioned a lot. A fun read.
