Grind (Powertools: The Original Crew Returns book 3) by Jayne Rylon

loved this book! I thought it was sad but also uplifting to see how all the crew support each other in good and bad times. I loved that the story focuses on Kayla I feel like she doesn't get a look of "screen time" I guess you could say so it was really fun to have a book where she's so heavily front and center. The ending was great and makes me excited for the next book! A great read.

Drilled (Powertools: The Original Crew Returns book 2) by Jayne Rylon

This book was great I love the Powertools crew, their kids, the hot rods and the hot rides crew it's so amazing to see everyone and revisit. I wasn't sure what to expect with this new series but i'm loving it and all the twists and turns that the Crew is having to navigate and it's one heck of a ride. Another great read.

!!!SPOILERS!!! Pound (Powertools: The Original Crew Returns 4) by Jayne Rylon !!!SPOILERS!!!

This book is about James trying to find his new place among the crew and in his career now that he's living in Middleton. Some sexy times happen and crazy developments occur. Can James find where he belongs?
!!!SPOILERS!!!
This book was interesting and unexpected. I have to admit I feel like James was a little out of character but I don't know why. Maybe because out of all the crew I've always felt like he's the one that got the least amount of "screen time". The one we didn't know a lot about. I had no idea he had a sister (unless I missed it in a previous book) or about his childhood. I thought it was fun seeing all the different things he was good at and wondering what he was going to end up doing. I do have to admit I was quite surprising to see him join Jordan's team. It doesn't seem like the kind of job that James would do nor was there ever any hint in previous books that he'd be good at this king of work. And then when we get to him saving the kid from the center that takes in kids that need help we only get a brief description of what happened which was kind of disappointing. I do have to admit the sex was hot and the crew are as supportive as ever and I really liked that about the book. I found the book kind of ended on a cliffhanger about James' sister and now I really want to know what happened to her. All in all a good book but not what I've come to expect from a Powertool's book. Definitely different than the others in the series but I liked it.

Four Love (Ever and Always 2) by Jayne Rylon

I really enjoyed this book it was nice to see the relationship between the four but also with Holly and each guy individually. The plot was good and at time unexpected which I really liked. I also enjoyed that we got to see some of the characters from other series by Jayne (Jrad, Sevan etc). I love when there are character crossovers. I loved this ending to the duet. A great read.

Four Money (Ever and Always 1) by Jayne Rylon

I loved this book! The plot is wacky and awesome all at the same time! I loved Holly and her men but I really wish Trent would have been a little less self-centered and cared more about Holly. The ending was sooo unexpected and I hope Trent will redeem himself in the next book. I also wished the other two guys had gotten more time with Holly but hopefully they'll be more present in the next book but all in all as always an enjoyable read that I couldn't put down! Gimme next book!

Going Hard (Divemasters 3) by Jayne Rylon

Going Hard is the third book in the Divermasters series. It's Tosin's story, the last lone wolf of his group of friends. Archer and Miguel have found their perfect women and now it's Tosin's turn and he'll learn more about himself that he ever expected.
I really enjoyed this story, it was a great ending to a fun series. I learned a lot about scuba diving during this series and even though this one has a lot less of that element than the previous two books it has other great qualities. The connection between Tosin and Kahori was off the charts and from the first moment they met I was rooting for them to be together. Love theirs name just had to mention that I love that they are such original characters and I've never read a story with any characters with these names which is really fun. The plot of the book had me on the edge of my seat and I had no idea what was going on only learning what's happening at the same time as Kahori is discovering it. I truly enjoyed the way the guys (and their ladies) look out for each other and always have their backs. Now all we need is for Banks and Captain Alex to have their own books!

Going Deep (Divemasters 2) by Jayne Rylon

Going Deep is the second book in the Divemasters series. Like Archer from book 1, this time around it's Miguel's turn to find his HEA.

With the unexpected arrival of a smart and beautiful scientist named Sabine, Miguel will find out that there is more to life than just diving and women. He'll discover a love that goes deeper than he could have ever expected.

Sabine is given the chance of lifetime to help make her mentor's research a reality when she is given the chance to board the Divermaster to search for the sample she needs to complete her mentor and now her own project. Though while searching for her mystery sample she'll find that there is more to life than just scientific advancement, she'll learn that sometimes you need someone to take the ride with you and that it's okay to feel deeply for someone despite the risks. With the help of Miguel and his friends she'll accomplish her mentor's goals and find love along the way.

I really enjoyed this book, like Archer's book, Miguel thinks he knows what he wants in life until he meets Sabine. From the minute they meet there is an instant connection. They seem to be made for each other. They bond over their shared history with Sabine's mentor and learn that he deeply affected both Sabine and Miguel's lives making them the people they are today. They have a common goal of finding the sample that will help Sabine make a cure and save countless of lives. Of course they have a lot of crazy and meaningful sex along the way and struggle with how they will be able to stay a couple once the sample is found. They are both willing to fight for each other and make things work however they have to, to stay together. A really great addition to the series.

Going Down (Divemasters 1) by Jayne Rylon

This was a great start to a new series. I love all the characters, loved the mystery of the past of the characters, I loved that there were references to things from MIB and I enjoyed learning about diving. I can't wait to see what happens in the next books.

Fourkeeps (Ever After Duet 2) by Jayne Rylon

This book is the conclusion to Kari, Ford, Josh and Brady's story. The foursome have to go through many trials in order to be together, misunderstandings, a crazy stalker and their emotions will all work against them to keep them from finding their happiness, can they get past them and be together?
After the cliffhanger from the previous book I was so excited to read this one. I really wanted all four of the main characters to get their heads out of their butts and realize that they are meant to be together but they just keep making the same mistakes over and over again. The sex was super hot and I was looking forward to them getting Marty and making him pay for everything he's done and I wasn't dissapointed. This was a great read!

Fourplay (Ever After Duet 1) by Jayne Rylon

This book is about three lawyers, Ford, Josh and Brady who dream of sharing a woman and having a poly relationship. The woman they're interested in is Kari their administrative assistant. The four all really like each other and want to make a relationship work with the help of another foursome couple that they know unfortunately Kari has a past that might jeopardize their future. Can they figure out how to be together before it's too late?
I really really liked this book. It was fun to see Andi and her guys again but I was really fascinated by these new people. Ford, Josh and Brady all have such different personalities and they each care for Kari. She in turn loves each of them her past is holding her back. She's unsure if she wants to jeopardize their friendship. Andi and her guys help them all see that they can have a loving relationship if they are all honest about what they want. The ending is a cliffhanger!!! God that cliffhanger grrr! Where's the next book? Haha can't wait to read the conclusion of their story.

Light As Air (Compass Boys 4) by Jayne Rylon & Mari Carr

I'm so sad to see the Compass series end. I feel like a part of the family. I really loved all the Compass family members from the parents to the daughters and now the sons in the Compass Boys series. Both Jayne and Cari write amazing family sagas. I can't wait to see what they come up with next. This was a great story. I really enjoyed Doug and his journey with TJ and Rosalia. They were definitely meant for each other and the Compton family is definitely no stranger to trio relationships. I loved how the whole family came together to help TJ when Doug couldn't because he was really already part of the family. The love among this group is all encompassing. Definitely loved the epilogue with the father's meet up at their spot, the series end where is began and that's very satisfying. Great, great series and amazing read.

Still Waters (Compass Boys 3) by Jayne Rylon & Mari Carr

This book is about Bryant he's the genius of our Compass boys. He's had a crush on Snake's son Vaughn since he was a teen when a traumatic event happens he decides to leave home to pursue academic endeavors and get away from the guy he's madly attracted to. When he returns years later finish his thesis project he has to deal with his emotions and where he place on the ranch is. Can Bryant move past his past demons to live in the present with the man of his dreams?
I sooo loved this book! Bryant was such a sweetie and I felt for him right from the beginning. I wanted him to be happy after what happened to him. But he is very insecure and had a lot of self doubt that Vaugh and his family were trying to get him to see past but it was a long road. Vaughn was so patient and caring but he too got hurt and had to battle with confidence in himself and that he's worthy of being with Bryant even though he's a famous Compton. I loved the family and the support and Jake oh man Jake in all the boys stories so far has made me cry! I'm going to miss that guy! Can't wait to read the final Compass Boys' book and see how Doug gets his HEA. Another great story.

Into the Fire (Compass Boys 2) by Jayne Rylon & Mari Carr

This book is about James another one of the compass boys and the son of Seth and Jody. He finds what he wants to do with his life by smokejumping. Jumping out of planes to put out fires. He loves the work but he also loves breeding horses with his dad on Compass Ranch. He's split between two worlds for half the year. When he meets Ivy in the woods there is an instant attraction, he then finds out she's his boss' daughter. They begin to date even though Ivy has made it perfectly clear for reasons unknown that she doesn't date smokejumpers. When James discovers why and a tragic events happens on the ranch back home they cling to each other and lose one another. Can they get back the love they feel for each other and find a way to face their demons and be together?
OMG! So in love with James right now he was such a sweetheart and so understanding about Ivy's feelings when he discovers her secret. I love how she came home with him and she just fit right in with the group. I loved reading about James' smokejumping I had no idea that was even a real job. I loved the parts with Jake and was sad about what happened. I loved that James never gave up and even though Ivy fought him deep down she knew that they were meant to be as well. I loved that he kidnapped Ivy kind of in the same style that his dad did to his mom. This was just another great addition to the Compass family saga. As always the story and the writing was so good I couldn't put it down and one chapter turned into ten and several hours late I was done the book. I can't wait to read about the other Compass Boys.

Heaven on Earth (Compass Boys 1) by Jayne Rylon & Mari Carr

This is the first book in the new Compass Boys series, like the Compass Brothers and the Compass Girls this series tells the story of the youngest generation of Compton boys now adults. Austin Compton knows he's not meant to sit in a classroom but instead he's meant to be working to further help his families ranch, so he buys a big rig and delivers animals to farms. When on one of his trips he acquires a stowaway on his trailer his life will change forever. Hayden is with a drunk he's made their life difficult by spending their money on booze, now he's become violent and it's the last straw. She runs in the middle of the night to escape and finds herself in Austin's trailer and about to go on the journey of a lifetime. Can Austin be patient enough to wait for the woman he loves? And can Hayden realize that she can lean on a man without losing herself?
This book was so emotional! Austin is such a sweetheart and Hayden is a brave and tough woman. I loved her strength and I love that Austin was willing to help her and be a good person. The Compton family are as loving as ever. I really enjoyed reading about all the younger Compass boys. I'm excited to read more about Bryant I'm convinced his story will be a lot of fun to read. I loved that Hayden had to go out on her own and prove she could survive by herself but also that when she realized that she might have made a mistake and lost Austin that she was willing to try and make it right. Austin was a really great guy, he's set the bar high for the rest of the Compton boys can't wait to read their stories.

More The Merrier: A Powertools Holiday Story (Powertools 7) by Jayne Rylon

Catch up with the Powertools crew, family and friends this holiday season you won't regret it!
I love the Powertools crew! I always want more books about them! This was a fun novella that catches up with the group as a whole and individually. We even get to see the Hot Rods! I loved seeing how the crew is doing and how it's growing. Joe and Morgan and Kate and Mike they like the yin and yang couple. And then Devon, Neil and James are their usual selves. Of course you can't forget Dave and Kayla I thought her gift to him was awesome. Everyone got something priceless. I always ALWAYS want more of the crew and the hot rods so I definitely will keep my eye out for more of Quinn, Abby and Nathan. This was a great book and perfect for the holidays.

Sinner (Penthouse Pleasures 3) by Jayne Rylon, Opal Carew and Avery Aster

This story is about Everly and Gabriel. Gabriel has left the church after seeing something horrible that makes him conflicted about his beliefs. A friend of his leaves his penthouse to Gabriel when he passes away. He moves to the penthouse and becomes good friends with the other tenants. Everly has been attracted to Gabriel since she first met him. Can Gabriel give Everly a chance and tap into his repressed desires?
I liked Everly she was fun and nice and Gabriel was a sweetheart even though he was conflicted about what he was doing with her. I like that he's willing to see how things could be with her despite his reservations. I loved seeing Casey and her guys again when Gabriel visits for advice. I thought the book was short but not too short it can easily be read quite quickly. I loved the final chapter where Gabriel finally gains confidence and takes what he wants in this case Everly. I great story can't wait to read the rest of the books in the series.

Kinky: An Older Man, Younger Woman Romance (Penthouse Pleasures 2) by Opal Carew, Jayne Rylon and Avery Aster

This book was formally called Daddy

This book is about a young woman named Christina, she is mistakenly arrested and finds herself in jail. Kent is a family friend and when he's called in the middle of the night to pick up Christina who he hasn't seen in several years he doesn't know what to expect. When he takes her home with him they soon realize that there is a huge attraction between the two of them despite their age difference. Can the two of them get over their fears and be together?
This book was fun, I really liked Christina. Kent seemed a little unsure, sometimes he was confident and sometimes he wasn't I was never sure what is actions were going to be. I loved that Avi was trying to push them towards each other even though he too was attracted to Christina. The ending is hot! I won't say more than that. A fun and sexy read.

Taboo (Penthouse Pleasures Book 1) by Jayne Rylon, Avery Aster and Opal Carew

This story is about a woman named Casey who moves into an expensive penthouse in New York. Not even unpacked and she finds a safe in her apartment that doesn't show up on the plans. What's inside the safe is peculiar an possibly dangerous so she calls the police. Fortunately for her one of the police officers is her ex from a decade ago who she hasn't quite got over yet. Jace is a dominant guy and he knows what he wants and that's Casey but if they are to begin their relationship again Casey will have to accept that they will be joined by a third, Ian, Jace's best friend and partner. As Jace and Casey rekindle their romance and she learns to love ménage danger lurks waiting to ruin their newfound love.

This book was a lot of fun and original. I liked that there is a mystery. Who was the person who previously owned the apartment? What happened to him? What are the papers in the safe for? In between all this mystery, Casey, Jace and Ian have some smoking hot sex and begin to come together emotionally as they try and form a new relationship that could last a lifetime. I can't wait to see what will happen in the next books in this series.

Long Time Coming (Hot Rods 8) by Jayne Rylon

I loved this book! Finally what we've been waiting for, for a couple books now it's Tom's and Willie's book! And it was awesome! I couldn't wait to see how things went with these two amazing characters. I can't say much without giving away the story but I want to warn that there will be two big surprises. The first one I didn't see coming and the second one I kind of had an idea of what might happen but hoped things didn't go in that direction. Everything seems to fall into place in this book and the Hot Rods can finally believe in their own relationships after seeing all the struggles that Tom and Willie go through to be with each other. A really fantastic book.
