This book was a lot of fun to read. I enjoyed that we finally got to see this other world that is so similar but different to Zoey's. I loved other Stark, Aphrodite, Lenobia and Dragon. It was so nice to see long dead characters come back to life even if they were kind of different. Seeing Aphrodite with Kevin was really weird and didn't feel right. That whole plot line was really sad because I kind of liked other Aphrodite more than normal Aphrodite but what can you do. I feel like Zoey could have communicated better her thoughts and feelings to Stark before she left but it was nice that he forgave her. I enjoyed the fact that Rephaim didn't turn into a raven in the other world that was really cool. The only thing I wasn't a real big fan of was all the sex. I know it's a book about teenagers but it seems like everyone was hooking up (with their partners of course) and it made the book feel a little more grown up than the original series but maybe that was the authors intent? Were they trying to go from a teenaged market to a young adult one? That would make sense for those who read the original series but it just didn't seem to fit with the characters. Other than that it was a very enjoyable read and I'm on to the next book!
