This book is about Ally a village girl that is stuck on a mountain where she lives with her father. Unfortunately their village is held prisoner by a gang that doesn't let them leave and creates outrageous laws. When her father suddenly passes away she must escape or become a whore for the gang in one of the gangs brothels. She is sent against her will to an alien planet to be a bride to a stranger. Will she find happiness with this alien man or will he betray her?
I liked Ally she had a lot of spunk. She wants to fight for what's right but she is definitely scared about her safety and future. When she gets to the planet and meets her alien husband she tries to run away. He catches her of course and they manage to get along well. Until she thinks he's cheating on her with another captive bride. Naad does everything he can to care for Ally but when she "escapes" their home he's hurt until he finds out her reasoning. The miscommunication is resolved and they go on to be a happy family. This was a fun read.
